As much as I love running in London- getting away isn’t just nice for the sake of being off work- also in term of running it can be simply refreshing.
First day of my holidays I ran in 5 degrees in front of snow covered mountains, picking blueberries on my way back.
For the next 3 days I was running on the beach in beautiful Italy. It gave me the chance to explore on barefoot running once more. 30min on the beach one way in my usual Brooks Ravenna & back barefoot. And I can tell you- I was SO sore the next day!
Yesterday, back in town, I used the rest of my day off to go for a 20km run to get ready for the Royal Parks Halfmarathon… 10 days to go!
